Pink Sunset Clouds Over Mallorca Canvas Print, Sailboat Seascape, Mediterranean Wall Art

A great bank of cumulus cloud piles up over a calm Mediterranean sea at dusk, its tops lit soft pink while a sailing boat lies quietly at anchor below.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Photographed off Mallorca, the picture is almost all sky: dusty rose fading upward, the cloud bank rolling along the horizon like distant mountains, and a thin dark line of coast beneath. Two small boats give the whole scene its scale, and the sea is smooth enough to look like glass.

About the sky: cumulus clouds build through the afternoon as warm air rises off the land, then drift out over the cooler sea in the evening, which is why coastal sunsets so often come with a wall of cloud on the horizon and pink light on its crown.

Printed in landscape format, its soft pinks and greys suit a bedroom, living room, bathroom or hotel-style interior, and it makes a lovely gift for sailors and anyone who has holidayed in the Balearics.
