Blue Hour Storm Waves Canvas Print, Dark Rocky Shore Photography, Poseidon's Kingdom

At dusk, storm waves roll in from a deep blue sea and break in bursts of spray against dark, wet rocks, while a band of heavy cloud glows along the horizon.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The whole scene is bathed in the cool blue light that comes just after sunset, broken only by the pink granite of the boulders in the corner and the white of the spray. The waves keep coming, row after row, as the last of the daylight fades.

About the name: Poseidon was the ancient Greek god of the sea, said to stir up storms with a strike of his trident, and on an evening like this it is easy to see why sailors believed the waves had a will of their own.

Printed in landscape format, its deep blues suit a living room, bedroom, study or office, and it makes a striking gift for sailors, surfers and anyone who loves the sea at night's edge.
