Camera on Tripod Canvas Print, Photographer Gift Wall Art, River Weir Landscape Photography

A camera stands on its tripod on bare rock with the river weir in front of it, and the same weir is showing on the back screen, so you are looking at the photograph and the photographer's view of it at the same time.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Everything a working photographer will recognise is in the frame: the battery grip, the lens hood, the cable release hanging loose, the level lines on the screen, and the tripod feet wedged into rock that has been scoured smooth by the water. Behind it the peat-brown river drops in one long even curve over the weir and the summer forest closes in on both banks.

About the shot: fast water like this is where a tripod earns its place. Hold the shutter open and the falling water smooths into a sheet while the rock and trees stay sharp, which is impossible to do by hand. The cable release is there so pressing the button does not shake the camera.

Printed in landscape format, it suits a studio, office, workshop, hallway or camera room, and it is a genuinely good gift for a photographer, a camera club friend, or anyone who spends their weekends standing in a river.
