Exploding Wave Canvas Print, Sea Spray Over Red Granite at Dusk, Coastal Wall Art

A wave slams into the rocks and erupts in a wall of white spray, thrown high above a red granite boulder while the sea and sky behind fade into cool blue dusk.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Droplets fly in every direction, frozen in mid-air by a fast shutter, and the wet rock in the foreground glows deep rust red against all that white and blue. The light is already going, which gives the whole picture a cold, end-of-day feel.

About the sea: when a wave meets a steep rock face it has nowhere to go but up, which is why spray can rise higher than the rock it strikes, well above the height of the wave itself.

Printed in landscape format, its blues, whites and warm red stone suit a living room, bathroom, bedroom or office, and it makes a striking gift for anyone who loves the sea.
