Snowy Forest Road at Dusk Canvas Print, Lone Bare Tree, Pink Winter Sky Photography

A snow-covered forest road runs between tall spruces heavy with snow, and beside it a single bare tree rises against a dusk sky of soft pink, violet and blue.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The leafless branches spread like fine lace above the dark, snowy evergreens, the road curves quietly away into the trees, and the last light glows gold low on the horizon. It is the hush of a winter evening in the forest, when the cold sets in and the sky puts on its best colours.

About the sky: in winter the sun sits low, so its light passes through much more of the atmosphere before reaching us. Most of the blue is scattered away on the journey, leaving the pinks and purples that paint a sky like this.

Printed in landscape format, it suits a living room, bedroom, hallway or cabin, and makes a beautiful Christmas or winter gift for anyone who loves the northern forest.
