Monochrome Spruce Forest Canvas Print, Snowy Treeline Wall Art, Minimalist Winter Photography

A dense wall of spruce trees stands frosted with snow above a clean sweep of white ground, photographed close in and in black and white.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Cropped tight, the trees become a pattern rather than a place: dozens of dark, narrow spires packed side by side, each one carrying its own load of snow, with nothing but empty white below and pale grey sky above. It is calm and graphic, a photograph that works like a piece of texture on the wall.

About the trees: spruces grow in that narrow, steep-sided shape for a reason. Snow slides off the sloping branches instead of piling up, which keeps the tree from breaking under the weight of a hard winter.

Printed in landscape format, its blacks, greys and whites suit a minimalist, Scandinavian or modern interior, a bedroom, hallway or living room, and it makes a calm winter gift for anyone who loves forests.
