Approaching Storm Canvas Print, Jagged Grey Granite Shore, Moody Seascape Photography

Storm clouds gather over a choppy sea as waves roll in white against a jagged shore of grey granite, the rocks rising in broken ridges streaked with pink and red.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The granite climbs up the right side of the frame in great angular blocks, surf washes between the lower stones, and bright gaps in the heavy cloud let a little light fall on the water. It is the tense, electric moment just before the weather breaks.

About the weather: the sharp, clean smell people often notice as a storm approaches comes partly from ozone, carried down to the ground by the strong winds that run ahead of the rain.

Printed in landscape format, it brings drama and depth to a living room, study, bedroom or office, and makes a striking gift for anyone who loves the coast in wild weather.
