Canada Goose in Flight Canvas Print, Moody Storm Sky, Minimalist Bird Photograph

A single Canada goose crosses an enormous sky of soft grey storm cloud, wings on the downbeat, pushing on alone ahead of the weather.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The bird is small and dark at the centre of all that grey, and the cloud rolls out around it in soft gradients from pale silver to deep slate. There is nothing else in the frame, no land, no horizon, just one bird and a great deal of weather, and that emptiness is what gives the picture its power.

About the bird: geese often set off ahead of bad weather rather than wait it out, and on migration they will fly through the night, when the air is calmer and cooler, calling as they go to keep the flock together.

Printed in landscape format and offered in the large 24 x 36 in size, its quiet greys suit a minimalist, modern or Scandinavian interior, a bedroom, study or office, and it makes a striking gift for anyone who loves big skies and the sound of geese passing overhead.
