King Vulture Head Close-Up Canvas Print, Colorful Exotic Bird Photography, Wildlife Wall Art

A king vulture's head fills the whole frame in close-up: bare skin in orange, red and violet, a pale eye ringed in crimson, and the folded wattle above a heavy hooked bill.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Every wrinkle and fold of that extraordinary skin is sharp, from the fine white bristles on the crown to the soft grey ruff below, all set against a plain grey background. At this distance it stops being a bird and becomes something closer to a sculpture.

About the bird: no two king vultures wear exactly the same pattern of colour on their heads, and the bare skin is practical as well as striking, since feathers there would be hard to keep clean at a carcass.

Printed in landscape format, it makes a bold, unusual centrepiece for a study, hallway or office, and a memorable gift for anyone who loves birds of prey.
