Purple Crested Turaco Canvas Print, Colorful African Bird Photography, Exotic Bird Wall Art

A purple-crested turaco perches on a curving branch among glossy green leaves, head tilted forward with curiosity, its velvety purple crest, blue-green face and bright red eye ring glowing against the foliage.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Its soft olive green breast fades into slate blue wings, and its grey feet grip the pale bark as it peers toward the camera, alert and inquisitive. The soft green background lets every jewel-like colour on its head stand out.

About the bird: turacos are the only birds known to make true red and green pigments in their feathers, and the red flight feathers hidden in the wings flash bright crimson when they fly. The purple-crested turaco comes from the forests of south-eastern Africa and is the national bird of Eswatini.

Printed in landscape format, it brings a burst of rich colour to a living room, study, office or child's room, and makes a memorable gift for bird lovers and anyone who has travelled in Africa.
