Golden Sebright Bantam Chicken Canvas Print, Poultry Photography, Farmhouse Wall Art

A golden Sebright bantam bends to peck at pale sand, every feather edged in black lace, its red rose comb bright against the soft, out-of-focus birds behind it.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The lacing is what makes the Sebright famous, and here it covers the whole bird: gold feathers, each one outlined in black, across the wings, back and tail.

About the breed: the Sebright was created in England in the early 1800s by Sir John Saunders Sebright, who spent years breeding for this laced plumage. It is a true bantam, with no large version, and unusually the males are hen-feathered, so cocks and hens look much alike.

Printed in landscape format, it suits a farmhouse kitchen, a country-style hallway or a cosy living room, and makes a lovely gift for anyone who keeps chickens.
