Vulturine Guineafowl Portrait Canvas Print, Exotic African Bird Photography, Colorful Wall Art

A vulturine guineafowl in close profile, its bare blue head, bright red eye and pale bill set against a warm, softly blurred orange background.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

A band of velvety chestnut feathers wraps the back of the head, and below the long bare neck the plumage breaks into striking stripes of black, white and cobalt blue. The plain orange backdrop lets every one of those colours stand out.

About the bird: vulturine guineafowl come from the dry savannah and bushland of northeast Africa, from Ethiopia and Somalia down to Kenya and Tanzania. They are the largest of the guineafowl, and their bare, vulture-like head gives them their name.

Printed in landscape format, it adds a bold splash of colour to a living room, study or office, and makes a memorable gift for bird lovers and anyone who has travelled in Africa.
