Coastal Highway Canvas Print, Aerial Sea Road Wall Art, Drone Landscape Photo

A two lane highway seen from the air, curving along the shore of the Baltic with forest pressed against it on one side and the sea on the other, the water turning from pale turquoise over the shallows to deep teal where the bottom drops away.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Three strips, side by side, and that is the whole composition: forest, road, sea. From above the road stops being a road and becomes a line, white dashes down the middle, a steel barrier on the seaward edge, two cars small enough to miss on the first look. It is late in the year. The birches along the verge are already bare, the grass has gone to rust, and only the pines are still holding their colour.

The water is doing something worth knowing about. That band of turquoise is not a different sea, it is shallow ground: light reaches the pale stone bottom and bounces back up, so the colour you are seeing is depth. Where the shelf ends, the light stops returning and the surface goes almost black green. The rough stone banked along the shoreline is armour, laid there to stop waves and winter ice from eating the embankment out from under the road.

Landscape format. It suits an office, hallway, study or living room, and it is the right print for anyone who loves a long drive, a coast road, or maps and aerial views generally.
