Sunny Winter Forest Canvas Print, Blue Sky Snow Trees Wall Art, Nature Photography

People who say they hate winter mean they hate grey. They have never been out on a day like this one, when the cold has cleared the sky completely, the snow is throwing light back up into the trees, and it is brighter outdoors at noon than it is in July.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

This is a track worth walking down. Pines and spruces loaded on both sides, snow still sitting on every branch from the last fall, a hard blue sky overhead with white cloud piling up, and the sun low enough to be coming in sideways through the trees. There are maybe ten of these days in a winter and you have to drop everything and go.

It is the opposite of most winter photography, which leans on mist and pale grey and melancholy. This is winter as the good version: sharp, clean, bright, and worth getting cold for.

Which makes it useful somewhere you pass on the way out of the house. A hallway, a boot room, a landing, a kitchen wall. It works as a reminder rather than as decoration, and it is a cheerful print without ever being twee, because nothing in it has been arranged.

For walkers, skiers, dog owners, and anyone who has spent a winter promising themselves they will get outside more.
