Aerial Beach Canvas Print, Turquoise Water and Pink Trees Wall Art, Abstract Coast

A good number of people choose art the way they choose a cushion: by colour, to go with a room they have already finished. There is nothing wrong with that, and this is a print for exactly those people. Turquoise and pink, and not much else.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

It was taken from straight above, looking down at a shoreline, which flattens everything into bands. Deep green blue water fills the right, a line of rounded pale and red stones runs diagonally through the middle, and trees crowd the left edge. The colour has been pushed a long way from what the camera saw, so the trees read pink and the water reads tropical. That is a deliberate treatment, not a trick of the light, and it is the reason the print works as decoration rather than documentation.

There is no horizon and no sky, so nothing tells you how big any of it is. From a few steps back it is two colour fields with a textured seam between them. Up close it turns into individual stones and branches.

If your room has teal, petrol blue, blush, dusty pink or brass in it, this will look as though it was chosen for the room. Against plain white it becomes the one strong thing on the wall.

For a bedroom, a bathroom, a hallway, a dressing room or a salon. A good gift for someone who has just decorated, which is the moment most people actually buy art.
