Rocky Shore Waves Under Blue Cloudy Sky Canvas Print, Coastal Seascape Photography

Under a wide blue sky piled with bright white cloud, waves break over red and grey granite rocks, throwing up a burst of spray while foam runs across the shore.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The biggest splash rises on the left, a boulder patched with orange lichen sits in the middle of the surf, and the wet rocks in the foreground glow rust red beside smooth grey slabs. With so much light in the sky, it feels fresh and lively rather than dark, the sea on a bright, breezy day.

About the sky: fair-weather clouds like these have flat bases because they form at the exact height where rising warm air cools enough for its moisture to condense, so a whole sky of them seems to sit on an invisible shelf.

Printed in landscape format, it brings colour, light and movement to a living room, bathroom, bedroom or office, and makes a cheerful gift for anyone who loves the coast.
