Big splash

Well, let me tell you, it was a close call! While I was taking this photo, a huge wave suddenly crashed onto the the boulders on the right hand side of me. I was so focused on getting the perfect shot that I didn't realise I was standing in the surf until it was too late. The sea spray soaked my camera equipment and I thought my lenses were ruined forever. Luckily, I managed to get everything dried out before any permanent damage was done. It was a scary moment, but I learned my lesson – when taking pictures of a stormy sea, keep your camera equipment high and dry! 😁😁😁
