Glossy Ibis Landing Canvas Print, Iridescent Bird in Flight Photography, Wildlife Wall Art

Wings raised and cupped around its body like a cloak and legs dropping toward the water, a glossy ibis comes in to land, and the sunlight turns its feathers into a shimmer of emerald, teal and bronze.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The long flight feathers hang in sharp, overlapping layers, glowing like polished metal, while the rich chestnut head and long curved bill tip forward as it drops over the pond. The soft green of the water behind lets those jewel colours blaze, and the bird seems to hang in the air for one perfect moment before touching down.

About the bird: from a distance the glossy ibis looks almost black, but in the right light its plumage flashes metallic green, bronze and purple. It is the most widespread ibis in the world, found in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas, and it uses that long curved bill to probe mud for insects and small creatures.

Printed in landscape format, it brings rich colour and movement to a living room, study or office, and makes a memorable gift for birdwatchers and anyone who loves nature's colours.
