Golden Sebright Bantam Portrait Canvas Print, Laced Feather Chicken Photography, Farmhouse Decor

A golden Sebright bantam stands tall on bare gravel, chest puffed out and head held high, every feather edged in black lace and topped with a bright red rose comb and wattles.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Photographed in portrait format, the little bird fills the frame from its upswept tail to its slate grey feet, and the pattern of gold and black scales across its breast looks almost hand-painted. The soft grey ground behind keeps all the attention on that extraordinary plumage.

About the breed: the Sebright is one of the smallest chickens in the world, a true bantam weighing little more than half a kilo, and breeders have spent two centuries perfecting the neat black edge on every single feather.

Offered in the large 24 x 36 in size, it makes a proud centrepiece for a farmhouse kitchen, hallway or country-style living room, and a fun gift for anyone who keeps chickens.
