Pine Forest Trunks Canvas Print, Copper Forest Floor, Swedish Woodland Nature Photography

Rank after rank of tall pine trunks rise like columns from a forest floor of copper, rust and green, with cool daylight filtering through and a glimpse of open water far back between the trees.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The trunks are silver grey at the base and warm amber higher up, and they repeat across the whole frame until they blur together in the distance. Underfoot, heather, lingonberry and moss make a thick carpet of colour. It is a forest you can almost smell, quiet, upright and deeply old.

About the trees: Scots pine can live for hundreds of years, and its bark turns from rough grey at the foot to flaking copper orange further up, which is why a pine wood glows warm in the crown and cool at ground level.

Printed in landscape format, its greens, coppers and greys suit a living room, bedroom, office or cabin, and it makes a grounding gift for anyone who walks in the woods.
