African Fish Eagle Portrait Canvas Print, Bird of Prey Photography, Wildlife Wall Art

An African fish eagle in close profile, its snow white head and neck lit against a warm brown background, with a bright yellow face and a heavy, hooked grey beak.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Every feather on the head is crisp, down to the fine white ones around the eye, and the pale amber iris looks straight past the camera with complete composure. The plain, soft background leaves nothing to distract from that face.

About the bird: the African fish eagle has one of the most recognisable calls in the world, a ringing cry often described as the voice of Africa, and it is the national bird of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Sudan. It hunts by snatching fish from the surface of lakes and rivers in a single pass.

Printed in landscape format, it makes a strong, elegant piece for a study, hallway or office, and a memorable gift for anyone who loves birds of prey or has travelled in Africa.
