Three Elephants Walking Away Canvas Print, Tails and Wrinkles, African Safari Photography

Three African elephants walk away across the savannah shoulder to shoulder, tails swinging, their wrinkled grey backs filling the frame and a single tree standing on the horizon beyond.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

It is the view most of us actually get on safari: the moment after the encounter, when the herd has decided it is time to move on. Seen from behind, the animals become texture and shape, deep creases in the hide, three tails caught at three different angles, and a great deal of quiet dignity.

About the animals: elephants walk in single file or close abreast along paths their families have used for generations, and the oldest female leads, carrying the memory of where the water and the good feeding grounds are.

Printed in landscape format and offered in the large 24 x 36 in size, it makes an unusual, characterful centrepiece for a living room or office, and a memorable gift for anyone who has been on safari.
