African Elephant Side Profile Canvas Print, Savannah Wildlife Photography, King of the Bush

An African elephant stands side on in green savannah grass, ear spread wide, tail swinging out and the tip of its trunk curled up, lit by bright afternoon sun.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Seen in full profile, every part of the animal is on show: the long sweep of the back, the deep creases across the flank, the short pale tusks and the great column of the legs. Behind, low bush and scattered trees fill the frame with fresh green, a picture of an elephant completely at home.

About the animal: elephants talk to each other in deep rumbles far below the range of human hearing. Those calls travel for kilometres through the air and the ground, so a herd can stay in touch long after they have lost sight of one another.

Printed in landscape format and offered in the large 24 x 36 in size, it makes a calm, commanding centrepiece for a living room or office, and a memorable gift for anyone who has been on safari or dreams of going.
