African Bull Elephant Canvas Print, Muted Vintage Tone Safari Photography, Neutral Wall Art

An African bull elephant stands beside a dusty track on the savannah, trunk hanging to the ground and one tusk catching the light, all in soft, muted tones beneath a cloudy sky.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The colour has been pared back almost to nothing, leaving faded greens, warm greys and creams, so the texture of the wrinkled skin and the shape of the great head stand out. With the grassy slope, scattered trees and hills behind him, it feels like a photograph from a safari journal of long ago.

About the animal: elephant tusks are extra-long front teeth, and just as people are left or right-handed, elephants favour one tusk over the other, which is why one often wears shorter than its partner.

Printed in landscape format and offered in the large 24 x 36 in size, its neutral tones suit a modern, rustic or minimalist living room, study or office, and it makes a memorable gift for anyone who loves elephants or has been on safari.
