Big African Elephant Canvas Print, Trunk Curled in Green Savannah, Safari Wildlife Photography

A big African elephant stands in lush green savannah grass, turned three-quarters toward the camera, its huge ear spread wide and its trunk hanging down to curl at the tip.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Two short tusks catch the light beneath the great folded ear, the grey skin is creased in every direction, and behind the elephant, acacia trees and green bush fill the background under a soft white sky. Standing calm and square, it has all the weight and presence of the largest animal on land.

About the animal: an African elephant's enormous ears work like radiators. Blood vessels close to the surface release heat as the elephant flaps them, and some say their shape even looks a little like a map of Africa.

Printed in landscape format and offered in the large 24 x 36 in size, it makes a strong, calm centrepiece for a living room or office, and a memorable gift for anyone who has been on safari or dreams of going.
