Swallow Flying Canvas Print: Bird Wall Art

An adult barn swallow hovers on outspread wings beside a young swallow perched on a wire, its red throat and long tail streamers bright against a clear blue sky.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

The parent's glossy blue-black back and white underside catch the sun as it arrives, while the fledgling, still pale-faced and short-tailed, turns to meet it. Swallows feed their young on the wing for days after they leave the nest, and this is one of those moments.

About the bird: the barn swallow is one of the most widespread birds in the world, nesting in barns and outbuildings across Europe, Asia and North America, and European swallows fly all the way to Africa south of the Sahara for the winter.

Printed in landscape format, it brings a bright, happy feel to a kitchen, living room or child's room, and makes a lovely gift for anyone who looks forward to the swallows returning each spring.
