Black Necked Swan and Koi Fish Canvas Print, Koi Pond Photography, Zen Wall Art

A black-necked swan glides through dark water among three koi, its snow white body and velvet black neck set off by the bright red knob at the base of its bill.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Around the swan the fish drift in their own colours: a large pale gold koi curving beneath it, a salmon orange one above and a black and scarlet koi sliding past in the foreground. Against the near black water, every colour glows, and the whole picture feels calm and unhurried.

About the swan and the fish: black-necked swans come from the lakes and marshes of southern South America, and their cygnets often ride on their parents' backs. Koi are ornamental carp first bred in Japan, and in a good pond they can live for decades.

Printed in landscape format and offered in the large 24 x 36 in size, it suits a calm living room, bedroom, spa or zen-style interior, and makes a unique gift for anyone who loves water gardens, koi or birds.
