Wet Red Granite Pebbles Canvas Print, Abstract Beach Close-Up, Coastal Nature Photography

Wet pebbles of red, orange and grey granite crowd the water's edge, polished and shining, while a line of white surf washes in across the top corner of the frame.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Photographed looking down, with no horizon and no sky, the picture becomes texture and colour: hundreds of rounded stones in warm rust and copper tones, each one glossed by the sea and separated by dark, wet shadows. Simple, tactile and almost abstract.

About the stones: pebbles get their smooth, rounded shape from years of being rolled against each other by the waves, and the warm red comes from the feldspar in the granite they were broken from.

Printed in landscape format, its warm earth tones suit a bathroom, bedroom, hallway or modern interior, and it makes a quietly beautiful gift for anyone who collects stones or loves the shore.
