High Coast Bridge Sunset Canvas Print, Högakustenbron Sweden Photography, Scandinavian Wall Art

Högakustenbron, the High Coast Bridge in northern Sweden, stretches across the mouth of the Ångerman River at sunset, its tall tower and long cables mirrored in still water under a sky of violet and gold.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

A pine tree stands in silhouette on the rocky shore, the forested hills fade into the dusk, and the whole scene glows in soft purple and yellow tones, calm and dreamlike. It is the quiet end of a summer day on one of Sweden's most beautiful stretches of coast.

About the place: the bridge opened in 1997 and carries the E4 highway on a main span of 1,210 metres between towers 180 metres tall, making it one of the longest suspension bridges in Scandinavia. The High Coast around it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for land that is still rising after the last ice age.

Printed in landscape format, it suits a living room, bedroom, office or Scandinavian-style interior, and makes a meaningful gift for anyone from Ångermanland, Västernorrland or who has travelled the High Coast.
