King Vulture Portrait Canvas Print, Colorful Bird Photography, Exotic Bird Wall Art

A king vulture (Sarcoramphus papa) looks straight into the camera, its bright orange wattle drooping over a red and black beak and its pale eyes ringed in red.

Printed and shipped from the US for US orders, and normally from Canada for Canadian orders and from Latvia, inside the EU, for European orders, so buyers in Canada and the EU should not pay customs fees.

Few birds wear this much colour on their heads. The bare skin shades from purple and grey into orange and red, a soft grey ruff frames the neck, and the white chest feathers glow against the plain background.

About the bird: king vultures live in tropical lowland forests from southern Mexico to northern Argentina, with a wingspan of up to about 6.5 feet (2 m). They are thought to rely partly on smaller vultures with a sharper sense of smell to find food, then use their powerful beak to tear open hides the others cannot.

Printed in portrait format, it makes a bold piece for a study, hallway or office, and a memorable gift for anyone who loves birds of prey.
